Forklifts belong to a less-known sector of mechanics, but still play a key role in logistical safety. They represent the forefront of the Italian manufacturing system and express the strong values of specialization of the companies of this sector. The national association AISEM federata ANIMA presents a qualified sector study: a white paper that offers an overview of the internal market and illustrates the positioning with respect to international competitors.

Analysis of the import/export data for the five-year period 2019-2023 is bundled with a map of key players in the production field. Data relate also to the exchange between different countries, providing valuable information for the comparison between Italian & international production systems.
