Massimo Cecchinato, Business Development Coordinator Greater Europe / Swisslog
In the light of your attendance in 2015, what elements convinced you to return to INTRALOGISTICA ITALIA 2018??
Business Development Coordinator Greater Europe
INTRALOGISTICA ITALIA was an important business event solely dedicated to those who, like us, operate in the intralogistics panorama.
In fact, it is the only large scale exhibition dedicated to our sector to date. Furthermore, we expect that the growth in the sector that has taken place over the last three years will further increase attention and participation in the next edition. For this reason, we have decided to strengthen our participation through a bigger stand compared to 2015 that will allow us to exhibit our innovative intralogistic solutions.
In your opinion, what will logistics look like in the future? Looking at the market figures for the sector and future forecasts, what are your expectations?
The panorama we find ourselves operating in today is constantly changing and requires more and more flexible and modular solutions, as we have witnessed, first and foremost, in the spiralling growth in the e-commerce sector.
Consequently, the rigid systems of the past will be replaced with flexible, modular and scalable ones that are interconnected with each other by groundbreaking management software, which in turn will connect all supply chain phases. Last, but not least, further added value will be provided by robotics, which will become an increasingly greater part of logistic solutions
