CIRCULAR ECONOMY SUMMIT
Artificial intelligence and circular economy models: towards a regenerative industrial ecosystem
23 March 2022 – 9.30-13.30
The Circular Economy is the conceptual framework of sustainable development. The Circular Economy Summit offer an exploration of the intersection of two emerging megatrend: artificial intelligence and circular economy, and how artificial intelligence can accelerate the transition to a circular economy.
On the way to the 2022 event – when INTRALOGISTICA ITALIA, Ipack-Ima, Green Plast and Print4All will take place simultaneously from 3 to 6 May – the partners of The Innovation Alliance, in collaboration with Fiera Milano, proposed an International Summit, aimed to the stakeholders of all industrial sectors.
It was about inspiring a regenerative industrial ecosystem and implementing a new economy that is circular – not linear – based on the principle of “closing the loop” of the lifecycles of products, services, waste, materials, water and energy. During the digital Summit, top voices from Italian and international institutions and companies will discuss the issues that are revolutionizing the industrial scenario, requiring new skills and imposing new business models. Starting from analyses of trends and policy in environmental sustainability and AI, the goal of the event was to disseminate and enrich vision, awareness and research on Circular Economy by presenting the best circular economy solutions at a global level.
- Global developments on the circular economy
- EU Circular Economy Action Plan
- Italian Strategy for Circular Economy
- Design-out waste: the creation of value in the circular economy
- Realizing the potential of Artificial Intelligence for Circular economy
- AI tools for Eco-innovation & Digitalization

THE INNOVATION ALLIANCE 2022 – ABOUT US
Four exhibitions together to tell the best of instrumental mechanics and discuss the major challenges faced by professionals in the supply chain as a whole.
Smart manufacturing, advanced automation, robotics, artificial intelligence, industry 4.0, and sustainability are the themes transversally revolutionizing the industrial world, defining not only the innovation of systems and processes, but also specific training necessary to enhance and strengthen the skills of human resources within a new scenario.
In this context of major change, creating a system between sectors, close to each other and often called upon to interact by commercial logic becomes an added value.
With a shared strategic objective in mind, all partners have chosen to renew their collaboration in order to re-propose an event of great international attractiveness, to welcome and enhance the design and production capacity of a Made in Italy globally appreciated (the average export is about 80%), as well as to give space to the best of world production at the service of the manufacturing industry.
