[/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=”https://intralogistica-italia.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/BEUMER-Group_PouchSystem_foto01.jpg” alt=”Beumer Group – Pouch System” title_text=”BEUMER-Group_PouchSystem_foto01″ admin_label=”Foto a tutta pagina” _builder_version=”4.17.3″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.17.3″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”] At INTRALOGISTICA ITALIA, BEUMER Group will also present their loop sortation technology as well as their innovative BG Line. The introduction of active slat-belt technology allows the BEUMER’s BG Line Sorter to overcome the limitations in the handling capability of traditional line sorters by providing an alternative to traditional sliding-shoe line sorters. This industry-first solution combines the broad handling mix of a cross-belt sorter within the compact footprint of a line sorter. The challenge was to deal with the added pressures that rising e-commerce volumes place on an omnichannel system by adopting a flexible, automated system that would allow easy expansion of capacity. The Group chose a system based on BEUMER Group’s BG Pouch System technology;a solution to be designed to fit into the current premises, expanding the existing warehouse’s fulfilment capacity and returns handling, without needing to extend the footprint of the physical warehouse. The BG Pouch System design allows an approx. 30% smaller footprint than conventional pouch technology systems and can be mounted in the ceiling, saving precious floor space.Additionally, the modular BG Pouch System design can also be scaled up quickly and easily as needed. Using the pouch technology, Calzedonia Group has transformed its warehouse, optimising it for omnichannel operations while continuing to achieve high efficiency in handling and fulfilment. BEUMER Group solutions are on display at INTRALOGISTICA ITALIA, booth C45 / Pad. 10 from 3 to 6 May 2022. [/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section]
